The Glendale Show has been a mainstay in the agricultural calendar for 125 years, and this year’s event – marking a very special anniversary – promises to be bigger than ever. Demonstrating the importance of farming and the countryside, the event showcases the finest livestock, fruit, flowers, honey, garden produce, baking, rural crafts and exhibitors.
Around 12,000 visitors are expected on 28 August, visiting the more than 200 trade stands on offer. In the main ring, Top Gear stunt driver Paul Swift Precision Driving will be producing heartstopping stunts that’ll take your breath away.
To mark the 125th anniversary milestone, children across Glendale will be part of the Glendale Great Oaks celebration. In all, 125 children will be presented with a tree by A & J Scott Ltd in the main ring, which they can take home, plant and watch grow into a mighty oak.
