After the success of 2017’s Kynren, production company Eleven Arches are already recruiting volunteers for next year’s show.
Kynren depends upon the involvement and commitment of the public – yes, that could mean you – who make up their cast and crew. Called ‘Archers’, these volunteers receive professional training and take part in rehearsals, making new friends and being part of a magical experience along the way.
For 2018, Eleven Arches are recruiting volunteers through Open Call sessions, where anyone interested can come along and see exactly what being an ‘Archer’ involves. The first of these sessions take place on 9 and 16 September, when you can meet members of the cast and crew, including those with a little more hair (that’s not the Vikings but the animal stars), and go behind the scenes while the site is still fully functional.
Arrive for 10am or 12pm on either of these dates, not forgetting to where comfortable outdoor clothing, and prepare to step back into history.
The final performances of Kynren will take place on 9 and 16 September at 8pm. For more information about buying tickets or volunteering next year, visit www.kynren.co.uk.
