Sedgefield based From Loft To Loved’s Kim and Sarah are renowned for their original home and giftware, as well as their creativity and up-cycling solutions. Here to provide you with hints and tips they've learned along the way, alongside a live decoupage demonstration, they’ll give you an insight into exactly where to start; whether you’re taking your very first up-cycling steps or looking to pick up some tips from the experts.

12:30pm - 'Feel Fabulous in Photographs', Pink Lily Photography - Andrea Denniss
Andrea Denniss of Pink Lily Photography is an award-winning photographer of women and those they love; whether they have two legs or four! Having started her career as a pharmacist, she decided to follow her passion and become a professional photographer creating images that make women feel and look fabulous. She’s here to share her expertise on how to take beautiful photos, or simply how to look fantastic in them.

1:30pm - 'Life on the Antarctic Shelf', Con Curtis, Antarctic Explorer
Meet the man who’s lived and worked at the end of the world. Here discussing his new non-fiction book based on the diaries he kept while working in the mountains of Antarctica, Con tells us about the time he spent as a Field Guide supporting scientific exploration in remote areas of the continent. Con will also be signing copies of ‘Working at the End of the World: An Antarctic Diary’ at the end of his talk.

2:30pm - 'How to get the most from your Garden', Russ Watkins, Royal Horticultural Society Garden Harlow Carr
If you’ve ever wondered how to make the most of sun and shade, planting combinations or even just want some quick tips for tidying your garden then this talk isn’t one to miss! Russ Watkins has been gardening as long as he can remember, started professionally at Birmingham Botanical Gardens, studied a degree in Garden Design and then joined the RHS in 2005. As the Floral Team Leader at Harlow Carr, he knows exactly how to keep the garden looking good.

11:30am - 'The Buzz of Beekeeping', Bruno Hannemann, York & District Beekeepers Association
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to keep bees? How to get started? Or simply what honeybees do for your garden? Bruno Hannemann, from the Yorkshire and District Beekeepers Association, has been a beekeeper for more than 30 years and will be presenting an overview and answering questions about honey bees, pollinators and beekeeping.

12:30pm - 'Painting the Home', Hicks and Weatherburn - Jonathan Wain
Paint: What is it made of? What do all those labels actually mean? And do you get what you pay for? Based in Leeds, Hicks & Weatherburn make all their water-based paint on the premises, from interiors and chalk paints, to satin and eggshell. Jonathan Wain is here to help us delve into the world of paint and figure out exactly what to look for when purchasing, as well as explaining why quality is so important when making your choice.

Kacao Chocolaterie is a luxury chocolate company, with each mouthwatering piece lovingly handcrafted in the rural heart of North Yorkshire. Kelsey Anderson from Kacao is here to invite us into the ever-tempting world of the chocolatier. Discussing her travels to South America as the inspiration for the business, and with an Easter Egg making information session and some tempting tasters, she’s certainly one not to miss.

2:30pm - 'Growing Food in the Community', Pam Warhurst, Incredible Edible
Get ready to take your spade in hand, get out of your garden and change the world… Pam Warhurst cofounded Incredible Edible, an initiative dedicated to growing food locally by planting on unused land throughout the community. A movement that began with a few community herb gardens, has now spread to the USA and Japan, with over 100 groups in the UK and 600 worldwide. Following her TED Talk, Pam comes to tell us more about the movement, and to inspire you with a new approach to growing your own food.

Hannah Moody offers a gorgeous range of ethically-sourced wool products, spun and dyed in Yorkshire. Join her in the LIVE Lounge for an insight into the brand and the products she uses, as well as British manufacturing and the revival of the ‘tradition’ of knitting! Hannah will also be demonstrating how easy it is to hand knit a giant blanket, along with information about her upcoming workshops and special discounts.

1:30pm - 'Creating a Colour Palette', LillianDaph - Christina Easton
Have you ever wondered how to create or work with a colour palette when improving your interior? Christina Easton from The LillianDaph Store on the North Yorkshire Coast, curates handmade, design-led homewares and interior products you just can't help but fall in love with. Here to tell us a bit more about how to get started, and how to create a colour palette personal to you and your home, you’ll leave filled with the confidence and inspiration to reinvent your home.

2:30pm - '8,000 Metres: Climbing the World's Highest Mountains', Alan Hinkes, Mountaineer
Alan is the first and only Briton to climb all the world's highest mountains — the 14 x 8000m peaks — Everest, K2 etc — all in the Himalaya Death Zone. Alan is a Yorkshireman from Northallerton and began his adventurous career in the North Yorkshire Moors. He is still climbing and recently enjoyed scaling frozen waterfalls. Come along to the LIVE Lounge for video clips, photos and anecdotes about his exciting experiences. Alan will also be signing copies of his book and DVD.
