Dinner with a Difference

Do Good Dinner
Have you got what it takes to be the hostess with the mostess? Global girls’ rights charity Plan International UK is encouraging people around the country to host dinner parties for a great cause in the first week of March

Striving to make a difference around the world, Plan International UK has stood up for children’s rights for 80 years, recognising the potential of every single child. This year, they’re launching an exciting national event to further their inspirational mission.

The concept of the Do Good Dinner is simple: it encourages people to host dinner parties and ask their guests to make a donation. The money raised will have global reach, benefiting some of the world’s most disadvantaged children (particularly girls), challenging gender discrimination, ending violence and fighting poverty. Donations will also help children in countries such as Cambodia grow up healthy with access to the resources needed for a good diet.

Whether you fancy yourself as the next Masterchef or simply want a casual night in with close friends, the main aim of the Do Good Dinner is to get people together over a meal, knowing that you’re doing your bit to help those less fortunate.

Plan International UK is encouraging you to host your dinner in the week beginning 5th March. To make preparation easier, the charity have fundraising kits available for planning your evening down to a T, with essentials including invites, place names, and fun table games to keep your guests entertained.
