More chic shack than traditional hotel, this shabby-chic hideaway is beside the famous Camber Sands. In keeping with its beach-side location the nautical theme runs through the hotel, think driftwood, stripped back furniture and every shade of blue. The hotel’s Bistro is a favourite with the locals and almost everything is sourced from local artisan suppliers. Book a room with a private deck or grab your complementary beach bag before heading to the dunes. If the weather turns there’s plenty of reading material on hand or nearby Rye with its quaint shops and cobbled streets is good for exploring. All the dog friendly rooms have direct access outside, and are a short stroll from the beach, and dogs are allowed in the lounge area outside food service times.
