A real Christmas delight, Andrew Coats proposed to Christine Lumb on Christmas Day. While the best things may come in little packages, he deliberately wrapped the ring in a bigger box so that she wouldn’t guess what it was. Of course, she said yes, and the pair were married in Cockerton.
Where were the service and reception held?
The wedding took place at Cockerton Methodist Church, followed by a reception at The George Inn in nearby Piercebridge – a traditional coaching inn on the banks of the River Tees.
Where was the wedding gown from? And the bridesmaids’ dresses?
Christine bought both her dress and her bridesmaids dresses from Dobinsons of Darlington.
Where were the suits from?
The suits were hired from Moss Bros.
Where did they source the flowers and cake from?
The flowers were provided by The Floral Box in Darlington and the wedding cake was bought from Marks and Spencer.
