Lindsey Tyson Textile Art & Design
Working from her studio in Scarborough, Lindsey is inspired and driven by a love of nature and the inherent essence of her surroundings, and combines a range of different textile/art processes and techniques. Lindsey creates very fine felt products incorporating her own fabric designs – at first glance her work is often mistaken for porcelain or ceramic. From a distance, Lindsey’s felt ‘pebbles’ are often thought to be real stones until they are picked up, resulting in amazed reactions of how lightweight they are.
Anne Johnson Gill
Anne grew up in Berwick upon Tweed where her love for painting started. After a career in the RAF she has now started painting full time, mostly depicting wildlife. She works in soft pastels and oils and loves to paint on reclaimed wood in oils.
