On 14th March, Action Against Hunger will host their Moveable Feast in Leeds for the first time.
The Moveable Feast will be held in aid of the charity, and all funds raised will go directly to supporting their work to end child malnutrition in over 49 countries around the world.
After the successful launch of The Movable Feast in Manchester last year, the charity are expanding the event to other cities including Leeds, involving local chefs and restaurants to create a bespoke fine dining menu across several venues in the city.
Ticket holders will have the opportunity to gain access to four of Leeds’ most exclusive dining venues and enjoy a specially curated menu and drinks reception. To begin the event, Below Stairs will serve cocktails encompassing sweet, sour, umami and salt tastes to activate the palate.
Diners will then be escorted to the first of the four venues to begin the four-course menu. The venues include HOME, D&D Crafthouse, Iberica and Tattu, with each serving a different cuisine, from Spanish tapas to contemporary Chinese and traditional British. Groups of 15 will move around the restaurants, trying a new course at each venue.
With only 60 spaces available at the event, this is an exclusive chance to sample some of Leeds’ best restaurants and support Action Against Hunger. Tickets are £80, including entry to the event, drinks reception and a four-course dinner with drinks.
‘Guests are going to be in for a really special treat, dining at some of Action Against Hunger’s top supporting restaurants throughout Leeds,’ says Emma Cullingford, Head of Food Related Fundraising for Action Against Hunger. ‘Every course within each venue has been carefully thought about to give diners a unique evening filled with mouth-watering food and an experience they won’t forget.’
Action Against Hunger’s Moveable Feast event will take place on 14th March, from 6pm until 10.30pm. To book tickets, visit www.actionagainsthunger.org.uk
