Celebrate Harry Potter Book Night at libraries across the region with some very magical events over the next few days

Middlesbrough Central Library
5th February 5pm–7pm
The Sorting Hat decides your house and you’ll compete for house points through the evening’s challenges which include a fancy dress competition, readings from the first book and a trivia challenge. Come dressed in your wizarding robes or best Muggle attire.

Stockton Central Library
5th February 4pm–7pm
Young wizards, witches and Muggles are welcome to an evening of games, activities, readings and quizzes at Stockton Central Library. Enjoy face painting, wildlife from Kirkleatham Owl Centre, magic by Steve the Magician and a Harry Potter Trivia Challenge. Wear your best Harry Potter fancy dress or Muggle clothes.

Enter the library via Platform nine and three quarters and enjoy this special event where you can complete the Wizardry and Witchcraft Spell-Making session to become an Official Wizard of Peterlee, make a Hogwarts tie and wand, and take pictures in the Have You Seen This Wizard? photobooth.
