The start of March can only mean one thing: the annual Read Regional campaign. Living North look at which new texts from the North are involved this year

From March to June each year the annual Read Regional campaign celebrates selected new books from the North of England, connecting local authors to readers. The project has run since 2008 and became part of New Writing North’s core programmes of work in 2012 and has kept expanding ever since.There’ll be a whole host of events over the next few months in which you can hear about the authors and talk to them about their work. 

This year’s selection includes:
