There is nothing more quintessentially British than a stay in a castle. Situated in its own ten-acre woodland estate in Northumberland’s South Tyne Valley, Langley Castle was built in the 14th century and still retains its historic charm. The accommodation is everything you’d imagine in a castle, with some of the 27 bedrooms having four-poster beds and all having far-reaching views across the grounds. Josephine’s is the hotel’s award-winning restaurant, serving local and seasonal fish, game and meat. Guests are also able to make full use of the castle’s drawing room with its blazing log fire, stained glass windows and sumptuous soft furnishings, making it the ideal place to relax before and after dinner.
Living North is delighted to team up with Langley Castle to offer visitors to our new website the chance to win a two-night stay in a Castle View Room and dinner on each night. This competition is now closed. Winners will be announced in January.
