Platform Open Annual Art Exhibition will showcase 62 emerging and established contemporary artists from across the UK this weekend.

The three-day exhibition together with performances by Kier Hall and his jazz band and buskers from York University will be hosted by Fine Art Auctioneers and Valuers, Morphets of Harrogate, from Friday 15 to Sunday 17 July.

Showcasing everything from painting to photography this event is one not to be missed. In addition British artist Everton Wright (Evewright) will be screening: Walking Drawings Across the Estuaries. Directed by Evewright (2012) this unique and evocative art installation 'Walking Drawing Artworks' has a participatory approach and explores mark making on a immense scale using people (and Cumbrian Heavy Horses) as the 'pencils' writing their stories into the earth.

You can also obtain unique pieces of art at affordable prices whilst raising money for the children’s charity NSPCC too. Thirty percent of sold artworks will be donated to the charity.
