This 17th century county inn, set in the village of Coxwold, serves freshly-produced, home cooked classic country food and a great range of hand-pulled ales in characterful, cosy surroundings – think flagstone floors, wooden beams and log fires.
Their lunch and evening menus feature delicious dishes including homemade beef and ale pie (served with chips, gravy and garden peas) and chicken supreme with fondant potato and forestiere sauce, while their popular Sunday lunch menu features all the classics, served with Yorkshire puddings and all the trimmings.
