One of the North East’s hidden treasures, Bradley Gardens is a four-acre 18th century garden, designed by northern architect John Dobson and filled with an array of plants, glorious in full bloom. Not only is it a fantastic garden, but also home to a wide variety of shops including a Bridgewater Home store and a Ladies Accessory store filled with luxury jewellery, scarfs bags and belts. You’ll also find a Garden Nursery, where you can buy plants, shrubs and perennials; transform your own garden.
Must see: The 19th century Victorian glasshouse, now a cosy café welcoming guests with freshly prepared meals, homemade cakes and afternoon tea. On warmer days, sit outside for the best views of the garden.
