Open from March until 1st July, The Himalayan Garden and Sculpture Park is a specialist plant nursery growing species and hybrid rhododendrons and azaleas. Bursting with colour, the extensive collection of over 1,000 rhododendrons species nestle amongst the spring bulbs and bluebells that blossom later in the season. Throughout the gardens are 120 different magnolias, flowering cornus and menziesia. Over 60 striking sculptures are dotted throughout the gardens, and the new primula meadows rise up the valley to the house.
Must see: A favourite amongst many visitors, the Chinese pagoda sitting on the edge of the Magnolia Lake, with its red legs and oriental features adds the finishing touch to the hillside garden.
