W2W Cycle Route

The W2W is a 151-mile route linking the Irish Sea and the North Sea, stretching from Walney Island just outside Barrow-in-Furness to the River Wear at Sunderland. Forming part of the National Cycle Network, the W2W (Regional Route 20) runs mainly on country lanes and quiet roads across sometimes hilly terrain and is joined up with some sections of shared-use path, forest road and off-road track.
