Day In The Life Newcastle Project is set to create a unique legacy for Newcastle by designing a collage of one iconic Geordie, using pictures captured around the city

Day In The Life Newcastle Project saw locals take to the streets, under the wing of award-winning photographer Mark Waugh, to capture the spirit of the city in just 24 hours. The images captured in this unique social experiment will be used to create a collage of a portrait of an iconic Geordie. From locals including Thomas Addison, Sir Bobby Robson and Gertrude Bell, it’s up to the public to decide. The artist creating the collage, Nathan Wyburn (who first came to prominence after reaching the semi final of Britain’s Got Talent and whose work has recently featured in Teen Vogue) is encouraging the public to vote from a shortlist of 10 famous faces which will provide a unique legacy to the city.
