You could take advantage of the ready-picked punnets on offer here but why not have some fun and pick your own? The farm is typically open from mid-June to August and their selection usually includes strawberries, gooseberries, raspberries, blackcurrants, redcurrants, tayberries and broad beans. Find them on Facebook to keep an eye on how this year’s produce is shaping up.

Once you’ve finished picking your strawberries, why not stop into Oxford Farm Shop’s tea room for a light bite and a cuppa before heading home? The meals are home-cooked and their cakes come highly recommended. Head up from July onwards to have a go at picking your own here.

Brocksbushes is a farm shop stocking fresh fruit and vegetables and home-made produce, a tea room serving delicious light bites and from June is a great place to pick strawberries, gooseberries, raspberries, blackberries, redcurrants, blackcurrants and plums.
