Four Spook-tacular Pumpkin Picking Locations

With the most haunted holiday of the year, Halloween, quickly creeping up on us, we decided to recommend some spooky spots to go pumpin picking

Adventure Valley, Durham

The Pumpkin Festival will be a great autumnal adventure for you and your little monsters, with pumpkins to collect from the pumpkin patch and the opportunity to carve them, as well as Adventure Valley putting on daily shows, a crazy corn cob catapult game to play, a huge indoor play area and a whole host of animals to interact with, for a spook-tacular day of family fun.

Walby Farm Park, Cumbria

There’s plenty to stick your teeth into at Walby Farm Park; spooky shows, exciting indoor and outdoor adventure play, a mini maze and of course picking and carving your very own pumpkins, as well as the usual fantastic farm activities.

Piglets Adventure Farm, York

Picking a pumpkin is one of the many activities available for the young ghosts and ghouls to partake in at Piglets Adventure Farm; there’s a spooky mischief manor and mysterious maze, a laser rave and even a magician performing tricks all happening at this Pumpkin Festival.

Farmer Copleys, Pontefract

Farmer Copleys isn’t the biggest pumpkin festival in the UK for no reason; there are thousands of pumpkins of all different shapes, sizes and colours to choose from. There’s also an abundance of fang-tastic activites available for the kids, and a beer and gin shed for the grown-ups – that’ll surely lift your spirits.

North Shire, North Yorkshire

Pick your pumpkins from 5th to 31st October from 10am until 4pm at Northshire's farm. With free pumpkin carving and decorating taking place in the enchanted barn, along with refreshments, pizza and cake – there's something for all of the family to enjoy!
