Now in its sixth year, the Knit and Stitch Show is coming back to Rheged Centre, Penrith, this weekend, 4th–5th May, in association with CoolCrafting and Marion Woolcott. This year’s show will feature over 40 carefully-selected exhibitors from across the UK, celebrating the finest yarns, natural wool and knits, spinning, weaving, cross stitch, appliqué, fabrics, quilting, felting, block printing, haberdashery and much more – so whatever your crafting interests, you’re sure to find something to inspire you here.
Rheged are also proud to be hosting a Luna Lapin Convention as part of Knit and Stitch, brand new for 2019, to celebrate the famous Lake District bunny. Each day there will be an exclusive bunny workshop and Luna’s creator, Sarah Peel, will be launching a brand new kit at the show too.
Also new for 2019 is the Knit and Natter Lounge, where you can take time out from the hustle and bustle of the show to relax with fellow knitting and crafting enthusiasts. Share your latest project or your exciting new finds from the show for some social creativity and friendly chat.
Your ticket will grant you access to expert-led talks in the theatre, over 40 exhibitors, and on-stand demonstrations and workshops, and specialist hands-on masterclasses can be booked separately to help you continue to hone your skills.
Tickets cost £4 for the day or £6 for the weekend.
