Now a classic work of adult animation theatre (winning several international theatre awards during its tours in 18 different countries) The Seed Carriers is as thrilling as it is enigmatic. Come and be immersed in the magical world of The Insect Circus – where beetles, grasshoppers, wasps and dragonflies all demonstrate their dexterity with great skill and humour. Presented using marionettes and live accordion music, the show breathes new, fascinating life into traditional Victorian puppetry techniques.
13th–14th April

Designed for complete beginners, this two-day workshop teaches participants how to make and manipulate a puppet of their own. Using wonder thermoplastic Worbla, you will design and sculpt a figure on the first day, before learning how to bring your characters to life in the second by exploring the processes of movement, breath and centres of energy.
