10 Top Tips for Planning Your Day at The North East Wedding Fair

You’ve got the ring on your finger and it’s now time to start planning the big day – but where do you start? The North East Wedding Fair is a great place to begin, where everything’s under one roof

Before you head down, make sure you visit the fair’s website to familiarise yourself with the show, the features and exhibitors, and then follow The North East Wedding Fair’s top tips for your first visit.

1. Start your day at the Catwalk Show
There’s no better place to see a wide variety of beautiful wedding dresses than live on the runway. Grab a glass of bubbly and watch as models run the catwalk, where there are three shows a day. 

2. Find your wedding dress
Having seen the catwalk, take note of your favourite dresses and head to the boutiques and designers where you’ll be able to try on the gowns you’ve just seen, as well as hundreds more. 

3. Take your time
At the Newcastle show there are over 100 exhibitors, so make sure you arrive with plenty of time to make your way around the fair. Exhibitors at any fair are experts in their respective fields and are dedicated to making your day the absolute best it can be.

4. Find the perfect wedding venue
Whether you are looking for a castle, hotel, hall, outdoor wedding or wedding abroad, The North East Wedding Fair has a vast range of stunning wedding venues for you to book for your special day.

5. Grab a show guide
You found the perfect venue and can’t picture your day anywhere else, but you’ve forgotten the name now you’re home. Don’t panic: The North East Wedding Fair have an online exhibitor list and their printed show guide is free, to help you make note of the people you may need to contact later.

6. Celebrate your engagement in style

10. And relax…
Finish off with a glass of bubbly or a nice cup of coffee at the spacious Prosecco Bar to reflect on everything you’ve found. Be sure you’ve visited all of the exhibitors and head back to anyone you’d like to speak to again before leaving.
