For children, the Easter weekend is a magnificent thing to behold: free chocolate! Bunnies! An ever-decreasing interest in the Christian origins of the holiday! But for parents, there’s a sense of dread: what do you do with the children over the long bank holiday weekend?
Don’t panic and don’t stress. The Coach House at Middleton Lodge will be hosting its annual Easter Family Fun Day on Good Friday, 14 April, which is jam-packed with activities for all the family to enjoy.
The day-long event begins at 11am at The Coach House, where guests can take part in a selection of egg-cellent activities, from the traditional egg hunts and a Punch and Judy show to something more exotic. There’ll even be a petting zoo and a balloon artist.
What’s more, there’ll be a cornucopia of tasty treats available including an actual crepe van and sweet truck, which would make traffic jams much more tolerable were they allowed in the adult world. The whole event will wrap up by 3.30pm, by which point your little ones will be all partied (and tuckered) out, leaving a lazy Easter weekend ahead for the family. You’re welcome.
The Easter Fun Day takes place on 14 April between 11am–3.30pm. Tickets are prices at £6.50 per person, or £20 for a family of four (two adults and two children or one adult and three children).
Tickets must be purchased in advance from Eventbrite. For more information click here
