NEWCASTLE

KICK ASS CHEESE 

Kick Ass Cheese is the creation of husband and wife partnership Tim and Sue Procter. They’ll be bringing their strong cheddars (all with a kick) to the Fair. Expect to load up on flavours including Fiery Jack, rioja, crunchy pickled onion and smoked cheddar. But prepare to be blown away with the Kick Ass Bomb – a flavourful, bomb-shaped extra mature cheddar coated in black wax. 

THE BIG CHEESE MAKING KIT 
Want to have a go at making your own cheese? The Big Cheese Making Kit brings a revolutionary box of delights equipped with everything you need to make delicious cheese from the comfort of your own kitchen. 

LYMN BANK FARM CHEESE 
Lymn Bank Farm take great care in maturing their ranges of artisan, Lymn Bank Barrel and Nibble Nose cheeses – some of which take up to two years to develop. They pride themselves on having locality and sustainability in mind when making their products. 

LANEBERG WINE 
You take care of your perfectly arranged cheeseboard – organising the crackers, dolloping chutney, placing the cheese and grapes to graze on. But let Laneberg Wine take care of the wine pairing. They take fresh grapes grown in England and hand-craft them into beautiful wines. They’ll be happy to advise you, with a palatable wine-tasting. 

BLUEBERRY HILL PRESERVES
Artisan chutneys and pickles are essential components to any cheeseboard and Blueberry Hill Preserves do them extremely well, in flavours including tomato and sweet chilli and authentic mango and ginger chutney.

WILDON GRANGE 
Wildon Grange offers a growing selection of tasty homemade chutneys (as well as dressings and their award-winning bottles of balsamic vinegar) all of which are produced in small batches single-handedly made by Adam Guy. Come and say hello to him at the fair and sample the range of unique recipes, like the Celebrations Port and Orange Cranberry Sauce. 

FAT LASS PRESERVES 
Fat Lass Preserves deliver artisan preserves with a modern twist, all handmade in Newcastle. Also home to award-winning Gin Cocktail Marmalades, they have an inventive range of jams, marmalades and chutneys to complement your cracking cheese platter.

JETHROS 
Jetheros is a family-run business who create delicious handmade chutneys, sauces and seasonings using their own unique recipes and with only the finest ingredients. Try their Bostin Beetroot chutney.

Snowdonia Cheese Company have built a reputation for cheeses with depth of flavour. Their ranges include award-winning truckles packed with everything from smoked beechwood to Scotch whisky. Where Cheddars are concerned however, their multi-award winning Little Black Bomber is a modern classic and a must-try.
