The popular Teesside Restaurant Week is returning from 28th September to 2nd October with some of our favourite venues offering delicious dishes, all three courses for £15. We’ve sorted out your itinerary but where will you be eating out?
This restaurant, set in the historic market town of Stokesley, boasts hand-stretched artisan pizza and a variety of mouth-watering pasta dishes for an authentic Italian meal. Now is the perfect chance to try their menu. Book quick through – they were fully booked within hours last time.
Church House, College Square, Stokesley TS9 5DN
From deep-fried camembert with home-made apple chutney to lamb kofta or a classic chicken parmesan, you’re spoilt for choice with this menu in Yarm. Don’t forget to save room for the decadent chocolate brownie at The Keys which is sure to put a smile on your face mid-week.
65 High St, Yarm TS15 9BH
The Mill’s recent renovation means a whole new look awaits you with more seating outside to make the most of the last of the sun, and it even has its own private beach with beach huts – because there’s really no place like home.
The Mill, Springfield, Stokesley TS9 5ER
Serving the finest Himalayan salt dry-aged steaks, Wagyu and other tasty local meat, fish and vegetarian dishes, there’s plenty to indulge in here. But the Tomahawk Bombe is calling our name – a delicious melted chocolate bombe with vanilla ice cream and salted caramel.
Acklam and Yarm
The Impeccable Pig
This restaurant has 10 rooms and a pub all bursting with character serving bistro-style food using local ingredients. There are vegetarian and vegan dishes too, so there’s plenty for everyone to dig into, paired with an extensive wine list.
Front Street, Sedgefield TS21 3AT
From Bardolino on the coast of Lake Garda, the wine list here is both stylish and exotic – and can be paired perfectly with the delicacies served. The potato dauphinoise always steal the show from the side orders, but there’s a variety of mains to choose from including both meat and seafood.
45 The Green, Hurworth DL2 2AA
The Scruffy Duck
This recently-renovated traditional ale-house in the heart of Norton village is a must-visit. While their cocktails are a fantastic reason to book a table, their traditional, locally-sourced, classic British pub food is a winner among many already. Relax in their beer garden and try the fish and chips or add a hint of spice to your day with the lamb madras.
