Do you love classic cars? Even if you don’t class yourself as a car enthusiast, the annual Figaro Owners Club rally in the Yorkshire Dales offers a spectacle for the whole family, with this year bringing a record number of 59 Figaro owners from across the globe.
They’ll be staying at the Rendezvous Hotel, Skipton, during the first weekend of June and thanks to a handy online route and timetable, you’ll be able to plan where and when to head to get the best view of the distinctive cars. The three-day route will take the drivers on a whistlestop tour through the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the Southern Dales across parts of Wharfedale, Nidderdale, Coverdale, Wensleydale, Littondale, Malhamdale, Ribblesdale and The Three Peaks.
The Yorkshire Dales rally, hosted by local Figaro owners Jane Ellison-Bates and partner Mark Bamforth, is a special event since there were only ever 20,000 Figaros made in 1991. The hosts have attended previous rallies in Scotland, Holland and Belgium and hope that this year the club members will receive a true warm Yorkshire welcome.
Catch the rally at various locations across the Dales between 2–4 June. For more information and a full timetable head to www.figaroownersclub.com
