From the moment I stepped inside, it was clear that every detail had been carefully thought out to create a truly relaxing atmosphere. My therapist led me to the facial treatment room, where we discussed my skin, its history, and my treatment goals for the day. After a thorough consultation (during which I had the chance to ask all my own skin-related questions) we decided on a Micro-Needling treatment.
Micro-Needling, also known as collagen induction therapy, involves using tiny needles to create micro-injuries on the skin’s surface, triggering the skin’s natural healing process and boosting collagen production – the coveted compound that everyone wants more of to maintain skin elasticity and a youthful glow. Micro-Needling is also particularly effective for treating acne scars, hyperpigmentation, uneven texture and enlarged pores.
During the treatment, hyaluronic acid (a powerful hydrating agent) was used to deeply nourish the skin. Skin & Soul uses pHformula products, which are known for their skin health-focused approach and for preserving the skin’s protective properties.
I was also treated to red light therapy, blue light therapy, a cooling face mask, and a soothing scalp massage – all aimed at reducing inflammation and enhancing the effectiveness of the treatment.
The results were immediate. My skin looked clearer, more radiant and refreshed, and a day later it felt smoother and looked more plump (the best results are said to appear a couple of days after treatment).
