NE Youth Host Gala to Celebrate 90 Years of Impact

NE Youth hosted its 90th anniversary gala at The Fed in Gateshead this spring
This special event marked the charity's journey and impact on the North East with 400 guests attending to celebrate, raising an impressive £12,000. Since its beginning as The Northumberland Association of Boys Clubs the charity has continued to change lives, working with more than 1,000,000 young people. The gala was compered by the BBC's Anna Foster and featured performances from Lawnmowers, Josie Littlewood, Alf Hill and Channy.
NE Youth have set a target to raise an extra £90,000 across their anniversary year to help them support even more young people across the region, and as part of their 90th celebrations, the charity launched the One in a Million campaign, aiming to find people who had been part of the charity's history. NE Youth now hopes to make a film made up of stories and interviews.
