The Principle Trust host a Country Music-themed Gala Evening
Supporters of The Principle Trust attended a country music-themed gala evening when the Yorkshire children's charity held its annual fundraising ball at The Coniston Hotel and Spa in The Yorkshire Dales on 16 November.
Firmly established as the highlight of the Trust's annual fundraising calendar, the ball was supported by businesses across Craven, Wharfedale and The Aire Valley and raised over £23,000, which will fund more than 30 week-long respite breaks for families with children who are underprivileged, disadvantaged, disabled, have life-limiting conditions, or who have experienced poverty, trauma or abuse.
Launched in 2011, The Principle Trust Children’s Charity was established by Ilkley businessman Mike Davies, MBE. Since then, The Trust has provided respite breaks for more than 5000 children across the Yorkshire region.
