Review: Family Fun at Cirque du Hilarious: Bonkers

Roll up! Roll up… the circus is in town
Here’s why you mustn’t miss this year’s Cirque du Hilarious whilst it’s in Wallsend.
Following a frenzy of fun in South Shields, Cirque du Hilarious has been entertaining families at Wallsend Rugby Club throughout August. We headed along with the kids – who are big fans of Danny and his antics!
Also starring the hilariously funny Mick Potts (Danny’s brother), Cirque du Hilarious’ brand-new show ‘Bonkers’ is bringing all-singing, all-dancing madness and mayhem to a big top in Wallsend, featuring jaw-dropping stunts and laugh-out-loud comedy.

The perfect family entertainment for summer, Bonkers sees amazing acrobatics and juggling acts showing off their skills alongside the usual comedy, and at one point Mick becomes Danny’s assistant (wearing a dress, whether he likes it or not).
If you’ve ever attended Cirque du Hilarious you’ll know there’s little you can do to avoid getting wet (so be prepared for foam and water attacks). It was a full-house (big top) when we attended and we’re sure the final shows in Wallsend will be popular – so book your tickets fast!
