The Antalya clinic is hosting two free North East meet-ups this November for people exploring their dental options

Choosing dental treatment is a significant decision, and researching care in another country can bring a new set of questions. How are appointments arranged? What will a proposed treatment involve? How long might a stay in Türkiye take, and what happens once a patient is back in the UK? This November, Ballipinar Dental Clinic is inviting people across the North East to put those questions directly to its team at two free local meet-ups.

The first event takes place in Newcastle on Saturday, 28th November 2026, followed by a meet-up in Middlesbrough on Sunday, 29th November 2026. Both will run from 10am to 5pm.

The sessions are open to people considering dental care in Türkiye and to friends or family members supporting them as they research their options. Visitors can reserve a place through the clinic’s free meet-up booking page, where event and venue details are provided.

Owner of Ballipinar Dental Clinic, Dentist Rıdvan Ballipinar says attendees can have a one-to-one conversation with an English-speaking dentist from its Antalya team. The meet-up is a chance to explain what they are hoping to address, ask about possible approaches and find out how the clinic organises care for international patients.

Depending on a person’s circumstances and the clinical information available, the discussion can help clarify potential next steps – a final diagnosis and treatment plan require an appropriate individual assessment.

The clinic offers a range of services, including dental implants, crowns, veneers, cosmetic dentistry and full-mouth restoration. Some treatments may involve more than one visit or a healing period, so timing needs to be considered alongside clinical suitability. Ballipinar’s team includes aesthetic dentists, oral surgeons, periodontists, endodontists and orthodontists working at the same clinic. It also has an on-site CAD-CAM laboratory for crowns and veneers.

‘When people are thinking about care abroad, they need room to ask questions and understand the whole journey, not just the treatment itself,’ says Rıdvan Ballipinar, owner of the clinic. ‘We are bringing our dentists to Newcastle and Middlesbrough so people can have a direct conversation, learn how treatment is organised in Antalya and consider what they would need to know before making any decision.’

Ballipinar has been treating patients since 1975 and operates clinics in Antalya and Afyonkarahisar. The clinic says English-speaking coordinators help patients communicate with the team before travelling, during treatment and after returning home. Depending on the treatment plan, support may include help coordinating appointments, accommodation and transfers; transfer and hotel services are provided by an authorised intermediary organisation. Prospective patients should check the exact services and costs that apply to them and ensure these are confirmed in writing.

The meet-ups are designed to help people become better informed, rather than to rush a decision. Anyone exploring treatment abroad should ask which clinician will be responsible for each procedure, why a treatment is being recommended, what alternatives and risks apply, what a quote includes, and how follow-up care or remedial treatment would be handled. It is also sensible to speak with a UK dentist who knows your dental history before committing to a course of care.

A conversation at an event cannot establish that a particular procedure is suitable for everyone. Dental treatment carries individual risks, and a clinician needs to assess the teeth, gums, bite and relevant health history before confirming a recommendation. People should take time to review written plans and ask for explanations they understand.
