Whether you want to treat your mum to brunch, afternoon tea or an indulgent dinner, these local take outs have done the hard work for you.

Aidan’s Kitchen: Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea
From steak and stotties to onion bhajis and spiced falafel, there’s something for every mum to enjoy from Aidan’s Kitchen but, of course, you can expect the Afternoon Tea classics too – think scones, Victoria sponge and hot drinks. Order soon as there’s been huge demand.

Ambiente Tapas: Mother’s Day Family Feast
This meal for four will please the whole family this Mother’s Day. There’s a sharing platter for four to start, five tapas from the selection, a main course sharing paella, a sharing dessert and a bottle of Rosada or Limitada Vilarnau Cava. The tapas will be packaged up in containers, with all ingredients and instructions ready for you to cook fresh at home.

The Crown and Cushion: Mother’s Day Heat at Home
The most delicious celebratory dinner is just a click away this Mother’s Day. Duchess’s Choice Dining: Mother’s Day Menu
Treat your mum to a three-course gourmet recipe box, delivered to the door. Pre-prepared ingredients will arrive chilled with easy-to-follow instructions, ready to finish and serve at home. This is a simple but classy option – think baked scallops, spring lamb, and gin and elderflower trifle. 
Order by midnight on 5th March. Local delivery is free of charge within 10 miles of the Devonshire Arms Hotel & Spa at Bolton Abbey. Delivery will be made locally on 11th March and nationally on 12th March.

Eric’s Restaurant: Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea
A variety of sandwiches, savouries and sweets await you in this afternoon tea box, with a Victoria sponge cake to add if you haven’t had your fill. Expect pure indulgence with crab and avocado sandwiches, chocolate and caramel brownie and, of course, scones.

Graze & Gorge: Mother’s Day Platters
Graze & Gorge have not one, but three, amazing platters to treat mum. Fancy Afternoon Tea this Mother's Day? The 'Afternoon Tea' platter contains layers of loveliness, including finger sandwiches, fruit scones, sticky toffee tarts, raspberry and almond frangipane tarts, macaroons, mango and passion fruit posset, hazelnut meringues, dulce de leche tiffin and the all-important bubbles. Prefer a cheese board? Love Lily: Mother’s Day Treat Box
Love Lily have been thriving throughout lockdown with their creative take outs. Although their Afternoon Tea boxes have unsurprisingly sold out, their sumptuous sweet treat boxes are still available this Mother’s Day: three white chocolate cake-sicles and three lemon cake truffles decorated with blush, nude and lilac with an edible topper. They (almost) look too good to eat!

Muse: Mother’s Day Sunday Lunch
Planning a classic Sunday lunch for Mother’s Day? Don’t spend all day in the kitchen – relax and let the food come to you. Start with wild mushroom and spinach soufflé or minted pea and chicken risotto, then, whether you love beef sirloin or nut roast and apple wellington, oyu can enjoy with all the trimmings. Just make sure you save room for a sticky toffee pudding, white chocolate cheesecake or a cheeseboard. Restaurant Hjem: Mother's Day Boxes
While lockdown continues to prevent Head Chef Alex Nietosvuori and his partner and Restaurant Manager, Ally Thompson from welcoming guests into Hjem’s dining room, the pair hope that these at-home offerings will help to make Mothering Sunday weekend that little bit more special. Their new food boxes are offered as one size only – ideal to share between two, or as a feast for one if lockdown is preventing you from spending Mothering Sunday with the ones you love. Think chicken skin crisps & wild garlic dip, Doddington cheese and leek quiche and mixed nut nougat – yum.
