Spilmans have 175,000 home-grown pumpkins in their fields, and each ticket comes with a £5 voucher to spend on your pumpkin. That’s not all, though – there is also a spooktacular live stage show by Wizards Academy, a chance to meet the not-so-scary scarecrow, a pumpkin slingshot, and a huge hay bale mountain to climb to the top of and spy your pumpkin in the patch. There’s also a popular spooky walk, and chance to hop on the Flying Spilman train. They’re open on the 17th and 18th October, and then everyday from the 23rd–30th.

Birchfield Ice Cream Farm
Grab a wheelbarrow and search the pumpkin field to find your gorgeous gourd in orange, blue, green, pink, white or multicolours at Birchfield Farm. The café will be serving take-away food and drinks, and entrance to the patch is free – you just pay for what you pick. They’re open most days until 1st November.

The Pumpkin Patch
At The Pumpkin Patch, find more than 45 varieties of pumpkins, gourds and squashes. Visitors can meet Peter Pumpkin as well as pygmy goats, and are challenged to find the golden pumpkin in the fields. They also offer pumpkin carving on-site to save the mess at home. Pick your own pumpkin opportunities are available on the 17th and 18th October, and then every day from the 24th–31st.

The Balloon Tree Farmshop and Café
Autumn has arrived and pumpkins are ripe for picking at The Balloon Tree patch until 31st October. They’ve got pumpkins in all shapes and sizes. While you’re there, make sure to pop into their Farm Shop to check out the local produce, and head to the cosy café for some delicious food and drink.

Farmer Copleys
With more than 300,000 pumpkins in 40 varieties, Farmer Copley’s patch is a multicoloured spectacle. There’s plenty to do at their Pumpkin Festival aside from picking, including tractor rides, live shows, a daily fancy dress competition, archery, street food and a bar, and their pumpkin nights will have a fantastic musical line-up of live tribute acts. The festival runs until the 1st November.

Piglets Adventure Farm
Back again for 2026, Piglets Adventure Farm invite you to their pumpkin patch and spooktacular Halloween celebration. Every ticket includes entry to the pumpkin patch and a voucher for a small pumpkin for every child. Take your pick from the patch and put your skills to the test with carving onsite in the undercover marquee. With marshmallow toasting, a gruesome ghost trail, an indoor play barn and a bumpy barrel ride around the farm, make sure to book to avoid disappointment. Yorkshire Pumpkins
Yorkshire Pumpkins have over 70 varieties of pumpkins for picking (including pink, blue and even leopard-print). Stable Pizza Company will be serving wood-fired pizza, and the pumpkin café has everything from pumpkin soup to bat buns. There’s also a huge hay bale mountain for all ages to climb, a rope maze, pumpkin wash and plenty of photo opportunities. They’re open on the 17th and 18th October, and then every day from the 22nd until Halloween, and farmers Rob and David will be on hand to answer any questions.

Cannon Hall Farm
Cannon Hall is home to 10,000 pumpkins and there are expert carvers on hand to help you jazz up your jack’o’lanterns. All pumpkins are just £3, no matter the size, and you can head to the craft zone to paint and decorate pumpkins for free! Children are encouraged to wear fancy dress, and those who dress up could be in with the chance of winning best dressed. They are open every day until Halloween.

Sandy Bottom Farm
Sandy Bottom have more than 75,000 pumpkins to choose from, from the perfectly round to the hideous and warty – and they have a delicious selection of hot food to fuel up on while you’re picking. You can also enter the maize maze to pick your own corn on the cob or get your face painted. Brocksbushes
Visitors can pick through the 155,000 pumpkins planted this year at Brocksbushes and then take them to carve in the pumpkin marquee. There are also Halloween photo opportunities, plus sweet treats galore at the Churro Van and plenty of other local food and drink vendors in the food village. Enjoy thrilling rides, marshmallow toasting, get your face painted and attend the pumpkin twilight sessions on 16th and 23rd October.
