On the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds, Drewton’s traditional farm shop, butchers and delicatessen is full of fresh produce. The butchery sources all its meat from local Yorkshire farmers and pheasant, partridge and duck directly from the neighbouring estate, and the deli is packed with mouth-watering delights such as cooked meats, continental charcuterie, antipasti, pâté and on-the-go lunches and pies. The team at Drewton’s are proud to support hundreds of Yorkshire suppliers, producers, growers and farmers and you can sample the fresh, seasonal and quality food first hand with brunch, afternoon tea or Sunday lunch served in the onsite restaurant.

Cannon Hall Farm Shop
The Nicholson family began with just a small counter to sell their meat, and a few shelves to stock their jams and preserves. Now, to meet demand, the shop stocks everything from cookware to baked goods, ready meals and award-winning breads and pies. The on-site bakery is where to get your fix of artisan breads, and the award-winning team of butchers are on hand for expert advice. Don’t overlook the chocolate shop where you’ll find the finest quality handmade chocolates, or the dedicated gin wall for a tipple or two.

Mainsgill Farmshop  
Just four miles from Scotch Corner, Mainsgill Farmshop’s fantastic range of fresh fruit and vegetables, and superb stock of both British and continental food and drink is popular amongst local residents and tourists alike. The Granary Food Hall is centred around their award-winning butcher’s counter where you’ll find traditionally home-reared and grass-fed beef, lamb and pork. Fodder Fodder

Fodder 
Full of fresh fruit and vegetables, delicious cakes and bakes, and with a fantastic butchery and deli, Fodder is a one-stop shop for foodies. The butchery stocks everything from fillet steaks to unusual cuts of meat, as well as their famous Fodder sausages. At the deli counter you can sample freshly baked sausage rolls, award-winning pies, cooked meats and a number of local cheeses – there are currently a whopping 67 Yorkshire cheeses available here. You can also pick up a selection of fresh salads and soups, all of which can be found in the café, alongside dishes made from produce from the shop.

Blacker Hall Farm Shop
This family-run farm shop in Wakefield offers award-winning fresh, seasonal and local produce from their own farm, and others in the surrounding area. Pick up all your essentials before visiting the farm shop restaurant which is open daily for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. In the farm shop, head to the bakery for freshly baked bread, cakes and pastries, before visiting the deli counter to stock up on delicious roast meats, pork pies and quiches. Cedarbarn Farm Shop and Café
Just a mile from the historic market town of Pickering, Cedarbarn Farm Shop and Café is true food heaven. Sourcing fantastically fresh food as locally as possible, (including Whitby fish) as well as selling produce grown on their own farm (including their own meat and seasonal fruit and vegetables) there is plenty of choice at Cedarbarn. Minskip Farm Shop 
With a healthy array of seasonal vegetables on sale, all picked daily from their market garden, Minskip Farm Shop do things a little differently, supporting local farmers and stocking the very best produce from as close to their doorstep as possible. This includes fresh meat and fish, as well as milk, butter, cheese and charcuterie from local suppliers. The highlight at this award-winning farm shop is their café, Yolk Farm. Here you can sample first hand the golden-yolked free range eggs which are laid by the hens in their six hectare green paddock.

Town End Farm Shop 
From cheese and charcuterie selection boxes, to Yorkshire hampers filled with farm shop favourites, Town End Farm Shop has a vast range of delicious goods available. Fresh milk, cheese, fruit and vegetables can all be found in the farm shop, as well as dried goods and produce from some of Yorkshire’s leading artisan producers. Roots Farm Shop 
Established in 2008 with the aim to improve the sustainability of the family farm and a desire to sell quality local food to the community, Roots Farm Shop has developed into a local foodie hub. Sample the produce in Roots Café, then buy the same ingredients in the shop – you’ll find everything from fresh fruit and vegetables, artisan breads, and local preserves to a vast selection of Yorkshire and British cheeses. There’s wine, beer and in-house baked goods too. At the butchery, pick up a selection of locally-sourced meat (80 percent of the beef comes from the family farm) or ask the butchery team for some expert advice. Customers can even book a class and get a two hour hands-on experience creating sausages or learning to prepare a joint.

Farmer Copleys 
Award-winning produce straight from the farm is what you’ll find at this family-run, Pontefract-based farm shop.
