Awards 2019
As you enjoy a unique reception you’ll be welcomed by some of the region’s best singer-songwriters, and there will be plenty of surprises throughout the evening to keep you entertained. Once the winners have been announced you can celebrate with them on the dance floor. The Living North Grand Marquee will make for a dramatic backdrop and a truly wonderful atmosphere.
Throughout the evening you can sample the best food and drink from across the North East in several unusual pop-up locations – join us for G&Ts in the bar, or chill out with a coffee (we’ll have the best baristas on hand). From canapés, seafood, fizz, and the freshest food the region has to offer, right through to cheese and desserts, you’ll be able to mingle and explore as you enjoy the most unique celebration in the region’s calendar.

I knew the night was going to be good - in fact very good, it was over and above expectations (and they were pretty high given it was the Living North team pulling it together). The order of events, the food, music, flowing refreshments, helpful staff, the wonderful lights, just fabulous, all of it! Thank you Living North for a wonderfully different night. Ann Oliver Harvey
Thank you for an amazing night. Living North should be so proud, it was one of the best awards nights I have ever been to, including all the ones we attend in London. Felt so proud to get an award. Gary Hooker, Hooker & Young
Winning Accommodation of the Year at the inaugural Living North Awards in 2015 was both a surprise and a real honour. The awards evening itself was a night of unparalleled celebration of North East food, song, business and talent, which we were proud to be part of, and all in a venue that had us all talking about it for weeks afterwards. The win gave our whole office a real buzz and our social media channels went crazy with messages of congratulations and people getting in touch who we hadn't heard from in ages - never a bad thing in the world of business. All in all, a thoroughly rewarding experience. Coastal Retreats
Living North is the iconic magazine in the North East, so entering our organisation in the inaugural Awards in 2015 was a great opportunity to raise our profile and promote our amazing centre at Kielder for disabled adults, children and their family and friends. A lovely evening in St Nicholas Cathedral quickly became a great evening when Calvert Trust Kielder was announced as Winner of The Changing Lives Award. We had a hugely positive response to our win and I would have no hesitation in recommending local companies to enter the 2016 Living North Awards. Calvert Trust Kielder
The Living North Awards offered Osbit a great opportunity to recognise our Executive Chairman Tony’s engineering success and charitable contributions to the region. I think that people should enter because it’s a great opportunity to recognise someone deserving and, even if they don’t win, the awards evening itself was fantastic! Osbit Power
Living North magazine has supported BoConcept In Newcastle since 2009 and we were excited when we heard about the awards night. This was a new advertising avenue to promote BoConcept in a positive and creative light. We loved being able to help promote great businesses and individuals in the North East. The event was very professionally staged in a unique setting with great atmosphere. Since the event we have had new contact from not only customers, but it has really helped make other companies aware of BoConcept and developing very strong cross-brand relationships with like-minded businesses.
