To celebrate the launch of its pocket guide, Keswick & The North Lakes: 10 Walks in Beautiful Places, the National Trust is offering one lucky winner the chance to win a £100 Cotswold Outdoors gift card and a copy of the book. Three runners-up will also win a copy of the book.
With scenic lakes, valleys and mountain passes to explore, it’s no wonder that Keswick, and the natural beauty that surrounds it, is close to the hearts of locals and visitors alike.
For aspiring walkers as well as seasoned hikers, the new National Trust book features walking routes handpicked by its rangers in the Borrowdale and Buttermere valleys and hopes to inspire and motivate people to explore the nature, beauty and history of the area.
The 10 walks – which include favourites such as Brandlehow and Catbells, spectacular viewpoints like Surprise View, as well as hidden gems in Seatoller – feature simple, step-by-step directions and illustrated routes to follow, and will equip walkers with information on the beautiful vistas, history and wildlife of which the Trust’s local rangers are so proud.

No bulk, software-generated, automatic, or third-party entries shall be accepted. Late, incomplete or corrupt entries will not be accepted.
- All valid entries made during the promotion period will be entered into the draw and selected at random by Living North.
- One first place winner will receive a £100 gift card for Cotswold Outdoors, along with a copy of the book Keswick & The North Lakes: 10 Walks in Beautiful Places.
- Three runners-up will receive a copy of the book Keswick & The North Lakes: 10 Walks in Beautiful Places.
- The prizes as described are available on the date of publication. All prizes are non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives available.
- Winners will be notified by Living North. If a winner cannot be contacted or is not available, the publisher (Living North) reserves the right to select another winner from the eligible entries which were received before the closing date of the promotion period.
- The Trust’s decision is binding in all matters relating to this promotion, and no correspondence shall be entered into.
