On 19th August, Leeds’ rock band The Dunwells are heading Summertime Fest in Newton Aycliffe and we’re giving one lucky Living North reader the chance to win a family ticket
Following the success of last year’s mini festival at The Hammer & Pincers, Summertime Fest promises to be a family-friendly festival to remember.
Leeds’ own Tricia Longford, Benny Bassett from the USA, The Lulas from Stockton, indie artist Solow Choir, Lucy May Walker (who has had her songs featured on Love Island), local award-winning singer-songwriter Hayley McKay and The Dunwells form the exciting lineup fest-goers are looking forward to.
Summertime Fest will run from 3.30pm to 11.30pm with music starting from around 4pm. In the company of sound engineer Darren Bishop and the team at The Hammer & Pincers, you’ll enjoy a great day out and dance the night away. An outdoor bar and food will keep you fuelled. Plus, there are plenty of opportunities to chat to the musicians after their sets and each of them will be selling their own merchandise too.
Tickets are £20 for individuals or £40 for a family including two adults and up to three under 18s. Tickets are available from thedunwells.com or direct from Ally on 07971 577572.
