A stolen rose sets everything in motion for Beauty and her unfortunate dad. Two mischievous fairies will whisk you through rural France with a Thoughtsnatcher machine, and a very helpful rabbit in tow.
With live music from the ‘Insect Orchestra’, Northern Stage is inviting families to experience this tale as old as time in fresh, funny and unexpectedly touching ways.
Beauty and the Beast (from 4th December to 3rd January) is the story you know and love, with added Northern Stage magic! We think the show is perfect for ages five+, but all are welcome.

The prize is for four tickets to any performance of Beauty and the Beast, Thursday 4th December 2025–Saturday 3rd January 2026, excluding Christmas Eve and Boxing Day. One member of the winning party must be an adult over 18 years of age. Tickets are subject to availability, non-transferrable and no cash alternative is given.
