This expired on 17th March 2022

We’re all in need of a breakaway. Here’s your chance to win a luxury lake stay for two in Ambleside

An elegant Georgian house, Ees Wyke sits pretty in a small village in the Lake District. Once the holiday home of Beatrix Potter, it overlooks Esthwaite Water and boasts comfort and luxury for a relaxing staycation, with award-winning meals.

There’s no better place to admire the fells of Coniston Old Man, the Langdale Pikes and the extensive woodland of Grizedale Forest, which can be viewed from the dining room, lounge and most bedrooms. Oozing tranquility, there are peaceful walkways around the house too. It’s just a short walk from Hill Top Farm where Beatrix Potter made her home and wrote many of her famous Peter Rabbit books.

For your chance to win a one-night stay in this country house, plus dinner, breakfast and a glass of sherry, simply enter our competition below.
