Based on the best-selling novel by Neil Gaiman, The Ocean at the End of the Lane is a thrilling adventure of fantasy, myth and friendship and has been dazzling audiences up and down the country. The cast includes Charlie Brooks, known to millions for her role in the long running BBC soap EastEnders, who will be playing Ursula.
Returning to his childhood home, a man finds himself standing beside the pond of the old Sussex farmhouse where he used to play. He's transported to his 12th birthday when his remarkable friend Lettie claimed it wasn't a pond, but an ocean – a place where everything is possible…

The prize is for two readers to each win a pair of tickets to the 7.30pm performance of The Ocean at the End of the Lane on Tuesday 11th July 2023 at Newcastle Theatre Royal. One member of the winning party must be an adult over 18 years of age (please see theatreroyal.co.uk/whats-on/the-ocean-at-the-end for further performance information). The prize is for the above performance only and is not transferable and no cash alternative will be offered. Tickets will be emailed to the winner prior to the day of the performance.
