Nestled in the Tees Valley, this striking four-star hotel is where traditional charm meets contemporary comfort. Once home to the Marquess of Londonderry, and designed by Philip Wyatt and Ignatius Bonomi, historic Wynyard Hall and its surroundings provided the perfect setting for lavish entertainment, fit for only the most important and influential people in the land. Generations of Londonderrys hosted everyone from royalty to writers and artists at Wynyard.
In 1987, Wynyard Estate was sold to Sir John Hall who immediately embarked on an £8.5 million renovation programme, restoring the hall and parkland to its former glory, and the hotel has continued to evolve over time. It now boasts three restaurants, a spa, a private lake, luxury cottages and award-winning gardens, including the famous rose garden with 3,000 David Austin roses.
Our lucky winner will stay in of the hotel’s luxury cottages, surrounded by private parkland, with its own sitting room,
terrace and hot tub, with all the comfort of the hotel’s services just a stroll away. You’ll enjoy a three-course dinner in the Wellington Restaurant, and have use of the lakeside spa facilities, including a 45-minute Rasul Mud Chamber treatment. Both guests will also be able to enjoy an hour-long ESPA treatment of their choice.
