Tickton Grange has been in the same family for more than 40 years, and this Georgian country house hotel makes for a picture-perfect place to stay. Set within the heart of the wild East Yorkshire triangle, there’s so much to see and do here whether you stroll into nearby Beverley to discover the cobbled streets, independent shops and Beverley’s historic Minster, or want to venture a bit further to explore Bempton’s white cliffs and stunning sea views. Tickton Grange itself is set in 16 acres of pretty English gardens and rewilded meadowlands which are well worth exploring.
When it comes to dining you’re spoilt for choice here, from The Hockney Room where you can savour Tickton’s renowned afternoon tea, to the newly refurbished, elegant Bloomsbury Room serving a delicious tasting menu or evening à la carte. After dinner, one of Tickton’s 21 charming bedrooms awaits.

A two-night breakaway for two, the lucky guests will enjoy a signature seven-course tasting dinner one night with a glass of Prosecco, and a £40 per person allowance towards a delicious evening meal the other.
