This expired on 31st May 2023

To celebrate our 250th edition of Living North, the magazine for the North East, we’ve teamed up with Newcastle Theatre Royal to offer you the unique opportunity to have a seat in its stunning auditorium named after you, a family member or friend

The iconic Grade-I theatre is at the heart of arts and entertainment in the North East showcasing the finest drama, the brightest West End musicals, award-winning ballet and dance and mesmerising opera as well as its legendary annual festive pantomime.

Alongside its artistic programme, the theatre – which is an independent charity – runs extensive community, education and participation activities, many of which are supported through fundraising efforts such as seat naming as well as generous legacy donations.

The lucky winner will be in good company; as well as those with a love of theatre and who wish to remember a loved one for whom Newcastle Theatre Royal held a special place in their hearts, seats in the auditorium have so far been named after a host of stage and screen stars including Kenneth Branagh, Richard Briers, Sir Ian McKellen, Susan Hampshire and Gwen Taylor.
