A brand new pub, it opened its door for the first time in September 2020, and is a gem yet to be discovered by many. The kitchen is led by Rob, a dedicated chef who by the age of 21 was running a Michelin-starred restaurant in London. He prides himself on making everything in house and only using great local produce. The menu is seasonal and is constantly evolving depending on what is available on the market, as well as from their own allotment. The Lime Tree Inn is slowly building a reputation and growing by word of mouth – you won’t want to miss out.

The General Tarleton

This cosy inn just outside Harrogate is renowned for its fabulous restaurant and serves seasonal dishes. It serves only the finest Himalayan salt dry-aged steaks, Wagyu and other great local meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. If you feel like a meaty treat, try its ultimate wagyu carnivore board, which comes complete with sirloin, ribeye, fillet, rump, black pudding croquettes, half a lobster, four sides and two sauces.
