Living North LIVE returns to York Racecourse from 22nd-24th March 2024

Here are just some of the talented artists you'll find at the North's leading lifestyle and shopping event.

SwirliNyx

This quirky art company sells magical stationery and gifts – think stickers, notepads and keyrings. Sunderland-based Nicole (or Nyx) works from her home studio and loves creating all things whimsical.
Living North loves: Blue Moth bookmark, £2.69

Sue Fenlon

Artist Sue is inspired by the changing seasons and creates a response to this through colour and texture. From coasters and mugs to pretty notebooks, her art is also transformed into plenty of perfect gifts. Her studio is just outside Alnmouth, and her work is inspired by her surroundings and her walks along the coast.

Forme Prints

Forme create illustrations, edit them on a computer and then screen print them onto clothing and accessories. Discovering new techniques and effects all the time, they’re constantly adapting their artwork and focus on being as environmentally-friendly as possible.

Illustrating urban landscapes in the form of 3D globes, Ben Staves designs prints depicting our favourite cities, drinking scenes and sporting stadiums across the country (as well as Hogwarts, because why not?).

Yorkshire-based Stitch with Hetty sells gifts and home decor made using traditional techniques of hand-sewing and hand-knitting from high quality cottons and yarns. The gifts are perfect for keen sewers and knitters.

Working from watercolours and pastels as well as acrylic and charcoal, on both canvas and paper, Emily depicts iconic landmarks across the region and at the Fair she’ll also be taking commissions.
