Tired of the same toast toppings? Ring the changes with these tasty options

What will you have on your breakfast bagel?

You’ll need one plain or wholemeal bagel, halved and toasted, then pick your favourite topping.

Preparation: 5 minutes

Cooking: 2-3 minutes


1 Bagel 


Avocado & yeast extract

2 tsp yeast extract (eg Marmite)

½ ripe avocado, mashed 

2 tsp mixed seeds 


Cottage cheese & marmalade

2 tbsp fat-free cottage cheese 

1 tbsp thick-cut marmalade


Peanut butter & banana

1½ tbsp smooth peanut butter

½ ripe banana, sliced 

Drizzle of clear honey
