This October, the family-run Northumberland farm will once again transform into the North East's biggest pumpkin patch, welcoming visitors from across the region to its most spectacular Pumpkin Experience yet.
For 2026, the team has planted more than 155,000 pumpkins, creating a sea of orange, white, blue-grey and yellow varieties for visitors to explore. From traditional carving pumpkins to unusual and quirky varieties, every pumpkin is grown on the farm and can be picked straight from the field.
But The Pumpkin Experience is about much more than pumpkin picking.
This year, guests can look forward to an even bigger programme of family entertainment, including brand-new roaming actors who will be bringing the patch to life throughout the day. Visitors can encounter magical characters as they explore, adding a little extra autumn magic around every corner.
One of the highlights is the new Witching Hour area, where a resident witch will be welcoming visitors into her spellbinding world. Perfect for young imaginations and seasonal photo opportunities, it's just one of several new immersive attractions joining Brocksbushes this year.
Once you've found your perfect pumpkin, take it to the carving tent, purchase a carving kit and turn your harvest into a spooky masterpiece (leaving all the mess behind!) before heading home. Fun-seekers can enjoy the returning Pumpkin Carnival, complete with rides and inflatables for all ages.
Recognising that not every little visitor enjoys the hustle and bustle of peak event days, Brocksbushes will once again host dedicated Toddler Days from 19th–22nd October. These specially tailored sessions provide younger children with their own magical pumpkin adventure, featuring the Baby Brocks Pumpkin Patch, seasonal activities and plenty of space to explore. Combined with roaming characters, interactive attractions and a relaxed atmosphere, it's an ideal first pumpkin picking experience for the smallest members of the family.
The magic doesn't stop when the sun goes down. Selected Pumpkin Twilight Sessions offer a unique evening experience in the patch, featuring live music, seasonal drinks, delicious street food and twinkling lights under the autumn sky. It's a chance to experience the pumpkin fields in a completely different atmosphere and an ideal seasonal evening out with friends, family or the perfect date night!
Food lovers are equally well catered for. Visitors can enjoy homemade dishes and seasonal treats from Brocksbushes Bites or the Courtyard Kitchen, alongside a carefully selected line-up of local food and drink vendors. From wood-fired pizzas and sweet treats to warming drinks and autumn favourites, there's something to satisfy every appetite.
