The Forbidden Corner

Go Ape
Dalby Forest is a great family day out, but Go Ape takes that one step further for thrill seekers. The Hepworth Wakefield
Celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, The Hepworth Wakefield is named after Barbara Hepworth, who was born in Wakefield and went on to become one of the most important artists of the 20th century. Join family workshops, artist talks and array of activities from Garden Play and Art Pods to drop-in workshops. On sunny days, explore the gardens at The Hepworth (where children can enjoy ‘painting’ with water).

Flamingo Land
At Flamingo Land’s award-winning zoo, visitors can meet a whole variety of creatures from sealife to reptiles, lions, tigers and capybara.
