Lara Aitken
Lara is a York–based illustrator with a passion for storytelling, specifically around themes of folklore and nature. She loves to create weird creatures and pieces inspired by literature or everyday settings, and works on projects such as book jackets, album covers, art trails, murals, picture books and more.

Kate Thornton Design
Kate’s journey began when she inherited her granddad’s old maps and postcards. She started cutting and arranging the antique pieces and discovered a love for creating silhouettes of birds and other animals. Now, she has created a wonderfully unique collection of bespoke map art – bringing cartography to life through fauna.

Having grown up on a dairy farm in North Yorkshire, Sue has a deeply ingrained love of nature. She channels this through a blend of different mediums, including textiles, drawing and photography, to create unique depictions of natural landscapes and wildlife.
