Stock up your drinks cabinet or home bar with the finest tipples from Living North's Christmas Fair

Here are just a few favourites you can expect to find at York Racecourse from 9th-12th November.
Gattertop Drinks Co.

Gattertop Drinks Co.
Paving the way for a new age of vodka, bringing flavour back to the spirit in a natural and authentic way, Gattertop Drinks Co. use handpicked fruits and botanicals from their orchards, gardens and hedgerows to create seasonally-driven, multi award-winning craft vodka. Be sure to pick up the Damson No12 vodka liqueur for a lovely wintery, plum-flavoured drink.  

Ellers Farm Distillery 
Produced on their farm near York and made in small batches, Ellers Farm small batch spirits are full of flavour and North Yorkshire character. From their cherry liqueur which is bursting with sweet and sour cherry juice to their espresso liqueur which has notes of almond and dark roast coffee, there’s something for everyone at this stand. If you prefer vodka, look out for the Dutch Barn Orchard Vodka, made with crisp British apples, giving a remarkably smooth spirit.

Isaac Poad Brewing 
Proud of their Yorkshire heritage, Isaac Poad Brewing use original recipes, traditional methods and natural ingredients to produce their award-winning beer. Head to their stand to discover their range of pale ales, bitters and IPAs. They also create signature gins from the finest ingredients, including a well-balanced spiced plum gin which is perfect for winter serves.

Yorkshire Heart 
Discover award-winning Yorkshire wine and beer created at this family-run vineyard and brewery near Nun Monkton. These wine specialists nurture more than 22,000 vines, producing delicious red, white, rose, varietal and sparkling English wines onsite, whilst the brewery, which was established in 2011, produces delicious pilsners, ales and stouts from the highest quality local malts and hops.

Ainsty Ales 
Stop by this stand for a taste of award-winning beer which has been made with traditional brewing methods and only the finest ingredients. Served in casks, kegs, bottles or cans, pick up one of the variety packs or your favourite beer – our go-to is the Cool Citra American pale ale with grapefruit and citrus aromas.

Dragon Slayer Distillery

Dragon Slayer Distillery 
This clean, pure and high-quality small batch gin is created in a 200-litre copper alembic still with carefully-sourced botanicals including locally-sourced lavender. The distillery, based in Darlington, is run by father and daughter duo Paul and Yasmin Gibson who want to tell the story of their local dragon slaying folklore, so be sure to ask them when you visit their stand (whilst also picking up a bottle of their award-winning signature rhubarb gin).

O’Donnell Moonshine 
Using only the best natural ingredients and following traditional methods, O’Donnell Moonshine offer something a little different when it comes to alcoholic beverages. Their best-sellers include Tough Nut moonshine which has notes of hazelnut, fine caramel and a hint of nougat, as well as Very Cherry which has subtle vanilla flavours. Head to their stand to shop the full range.

Fairfax Distillery 
Made in the heart of Yorkshire, Fairfax Distillery specialise in handcrafted gin and rum. The family business use locally-sourced ingredients where possible, plus some which they have grown themselves such as elderflower and rhubarb from their garden. For a delicious Christmas tipple, try The Lord General small batch rum which has notes of orange peel, sichuan pepper, hawthorne berries and all spice. Serve neat or with ginger ale for a warming winter drink.
